Xavier Solé Mora

(Born in Barcelona in 1983. Lives and works in London).

Visual artist and Senior Lecturer at Kingston School of Art.

MA Fine Art Digital at Camberwell College of Arts (University of Arts London). BA (Hons) Advertising and Public Relations (Universitat Rovira i Virgili). Alumni of Fish Island Labs; an accelerator program for emerging artists, mentored by the Barbican Centre and The Trampery.

Xavier Sole’s artistic research reflects on the social perception of Good and Evil. Through satire, his current work deepens in an infantilized society, where the boundaries between nastiness and enjoyment are blurred. By manipulating playfulness, his interactive artworks create spaces for the audience to engage with wrongdoing and have a bittersweet fun in doing so.

His work has been exhibited in festivals, galleries and art spaces mainly in the UK and Spain. He was featured on an absurdist TV show in Japan (which he is very proud of).
